Hello from Funkatology Records.
We are happy to announce that as of Friday 10/15 our flagship album has hit #75 on the Top 100 adult contemporary charts internationally. Hugh Jarvis Hitchcock's album FUNKMEISTER featuring the vocal stylings of Elisa Sintjago has become a hit! The International Assocation of Independent Recording Artists (IAIRA), an fully non-political watchdog group, has announed that song #4 from FUNKMEISTER, You Didn't Have to Be So Nice, has reached Top 100 standing on the international charts.
We want to congratulate the producer and performers on this album for achieving this high honor. The record was written, engineered, mixed and produced by Hugh Jarvis Hitchcock at Funkatology Studios in Miami. Lead vocals were sung by Elisa Sintjago of the Netherlands, previously first backup singer for Mary J. Blige. Also on the album is Jesse Jones Jr., saxophonist from Miami Florida. Rhythm and lead guitar were played on the song by Mr. Hitchcock as well as keyboards and bass guitar. The album was mastered by Kevin Nix at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee and released through Funkatology Records in Miami.
